Nearly there!

We’ve now got 13 boxes packed and strapped, ready to go! Jo thinks well need about four more to use up all the donations and gifts we’ve been given this year. Had some worrying news from the Philippines though, it sounds like the customs folk over there are getting tough on smuggling and are starting to open random boxes. That shouldn’t affect us directly (apart from the inconvenience of then having to have someone re-pack them in the Phils). The big problem is if, as is apparently the case, they are charging duty on a rather random selection of imported goods. We have always been exempt as a charity, but there seem to be some grey areas right now which we are trying to fathom.
