We have just returned from another successful visit to the Philippines.

Some of the elementary classrooms were in poor condition, with leaky roofs, damaged ceilings, and termite-infested dividers. We tackled these issues head-on by replacing rotted roofing sheets, adding new ceilings, and reinforcing wooden dividers with strong, earthquake-resistant blocks. The result was a safer and more functional environment for both students and teachers.

In the high school, an extended classroom was in poor condition due to termites. We decided to replace the roof with a steel truss and extend the new roof over a gap to create additional space for welding classes.

The upgrades didn’t stop there. We also provided various classroom supplies, including printers, fans, water coolers, whiteboards, and even sports equipment to support students’ diverse needs.

Additionally, we were able to assist the dedicated voluntary workers with medical supplies, and we bricked up an open verandah to create more classrooms.

These improvements were only possible thanks to the continued support from our generous donors. With heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed, the 1,300 students are now learning in a better, safer environment. Their hopes and dreams inspire us every day.
